If I don't have "35 itch" already, I will once I get my Ironman springs in!

Nay, don't forget about me on your next wheeling trip :)

I won't :grinpimp: - have a bit of PM on the brakes to get done and planning some late Aug/early Sep runs. I'll drop you a note for sure.

Nay, sounds good. Give me a heads up so I can get a day off work, the wife and I will probably head down Friday and stay the night in Manitou Springs or something so we can be in the general area without having to leave Ft. Collins super early.

Sliders and a rear bumper are next on the list when some funds free up. I smacked a cat pretty good last weekend and actually tweaked it to the side.

Im taking the plunge here soon, A little nervous about all the BS it takes to do it right. yours looks friggin awesome. I'm doing J springs all around. Adding a rear bumper and a n arb front. What tires are those?

I am not running any where near the height of a J lift but won't be able to flex it out and see how it does till this weekend. I felt like I had plenty of flex with the 285's but really could use the benefit of the extra ground clearance gained with the larger tires. I like the low lift, big tire trend. Tires are the BFG KM2's.

I'll set it up 2-3 weeks in advance at least. Just replaced my rear rotors and pads yesterday, so brakes are good. Now I need to rebuild my steering box and I'm good to go...

You will really notice the difference when you go wheeling. It is simply much easier to clear obsticles. I was surprised at how much difference it made.

Are those 37's taxing your steering?

I can still turn easily enough through the front locker - so not in any material way.

I have just put on a 2 1/2 " Iron Man lifet. I bought 17" 4Runner (4th generation) wheels. I want a tire that both looks good and drives nicely on the highway. Not looking for off road set up. Opinions on BFG and 285, 295 or 315's? 33 or 35"?

My last two tire sets have been BFG. I had the All terrain TA/KOs for almost 60 thousand miles. Most miles I have ever gotten from a tire on any vehicle I have owned....and I have been around a while. I have the KM2s now and really love them. They are good on the highway although a little louder than the KOs. They are excellent off road. Great in the mud and great on rock...very sticky. Don't know how many miles I'll get out of them but I am satisfied so far.

The hight of the tire you choose should be based on how you plan to use the truck. My KOs were stock tires because I wasn't wheeling my vehicle nearly as aggresively as I am now. If you plan to use it mostly for camping trips where you don't need a higher profile, stick with the smaller tires. If you are going to wheel it where a taller profile will help, go with the 35s.

35" tires look way better and don't really cost more. Truck will accelerate more slowly but that's really the only downside. For street use get an AT type tire. If you go with 33" you'll be kicking yourself the minute you see another 80 on 35s.

I run km2 in 315 with low ride height. But I do occasionally play on the rocks.

After going 35's from stock I cant imagine ever going with 33's. 35's just look right and compliment the cruisers size and versatility. They should have came stock :)

With the 35's do you think you need to regear? or have you regeared?

Looking at 35's myself

I wish I had 37 or 38's
The 35's are just not cutting it anymore for me
