Those of you who know my 62 will remember that I have had a "whistle" in my engine when it warms up. This is the kind of whistle a construction worker sounds when he is trying to get the attention of the opposite gender from 17 stories up: loud.

I took my vehicle to a mechanic and he found it: The EGR AND the vacuum hoses to it and around it.

I'm so happy!:bounce: Now I get to spend some parts money at Ralph Hayes Toyota!

Also turns out it is (obviously) causing my rough idle.

Great Alex! All except the Ralph Hayes Part. That could get expensive

Great news Alex. I will add it to my list of future fixes for my 62! Don't forget to buy the EGR gasket too!

All OEM is going back into my pony.

Rick takes care of us here in UC and he has my Green Light on the purchase.

I am rebuilding the brake cylinders in my 40. Does anyone have experience with this?

i don't have much experience with cruiser cylinders, but have rebuilt a couple...not too bad really.

i picked up another '71 parts rig this weekend, so if you need any spares alex, let me know and they're yours...
