Nice. Which cvt tent is that? I am ordering mine tomorrow with the group buy

CVT.

Cascadia Vehicle Tent.

I can give you Bobby's direct number if your looking at this model.

Holy crap. My bad...... It's been I long few days. It's the "Mt Shasta"

Thanks for the slap. Lol.

I really wanted lighting on the side of my truck when at camp, but didn't want them to be on the truck all the time.

So here is my solution.

I manufacture a 1.5" drop mount. It can be mounted to all four sides and flipped giving lots of options. The two mounting holes are on 1" centers. Bolt some carriage bolts up and then drop into the 3/4 holes milled into the extrusion and you get a drop in mount that takes no tools.

I have a nylon washer between the light and mount, this gives you a strong adjustment point with no friction.

Then I'll unplug my light bar and plug my smaller light up at camp.

I like the way you think. You think of everything. Yeah I was talking about which particular tent. I am calling bobby tomorrow for a mt rainier. It's going I take up most of my rack, errr your rack which I will purchase.

Relocated it to the rear of the rack. The tent looks like its not level by a lot, but it's only about 3* with no load.

Bobby is good people.

When you go to mount the tent, toss the tiny washers that come with the bolts for mounting the bottom of the tent to the extrusion as they are tiny and provide nothing. Get larger fender washers so it disperses the tension. You'll understand when you see what I'm talking about.

Few pictures of the tent material.
View with cans installed.

Shovel mounted up and now redesigning the HiLift mount, it will it interfere with tent when deployed and share space with the shovel handle allowing both to be mounted to the same side. ( I hope)

I pulled the trigger on Slee's Blueberry bumper a while ago after seeing the after pics from the rear bumper taking a hit, that did it for me. Though it's the front, the rear will be not far behind.

I needed to make a decision on a winch, and since I don't have a lot of personal cash lately I purchased the Badlands from HF and used the 25% off email coupon and walked out spending $295.00 I know the haters will hate, but all I can afford at the time. Also I would like to do a nice install in the engine bay for the electronics.

So, anyone have a good lead on synthetic line? Trade? Anyone??

Well after a month of unexpected arises in life, I was needing to get away and disconnect and reconnect with myself, so I hit the woods with my pup. I met up on a cruiser only run Friday and go to wheel country I had only passed and never entered on the coastal range of Oregon.

First picture is of my camp. Tent, foxwing and hammock under my camp lights. I had no idea that they would be that bright in the woods, I never fired up my lantern as there was no need.

Very cool hard wood stand I drove through, never seen anything like it before.

I finally replaced the two nuts that gave way in my roof. I've put it off for months as I really didn't want to drill through my headliner.

Purchased the correct drill bit and metric nutserts from McMaster-Carr and thought about for an hour. I was a little worried about the drill biting and pulling the drill down through the headliner.

So I grabbed a step drill and I'll be damned if that didn't work. So I never used the bit I purchased.

Spun a nutsert on the installation tool and set it into the roof and set it.

Re installed my rack and called it good.

Shane.

Nutserts are the business. Great solution for many install apps as well ad repairs like this one. Buy from McMaster. The cheap Chinese sets are rubbish
