Lots of good conversation here about power steering improvements. Any of you fellas succeed in bettering the stock pump? @thelal @NLXTACY @landtank

I just purchased a used MM 9000 and am curious about the current state of the art!

I haven't aeen any. the easiest solution is to run a shorter line. that way youvwill alwsys be on a smaller wrap and have similar pulling power of a larger pump with a longer line

Running a shorter line? I was under the impression that the more fluid in the system, the better. No?

Or does that have to do with speed only?

I have 2 MM setups. the pumps work fine for my needs. I prefer slow controlled winching. I'm not sure why guys feel the need to have a fast setup. if I'm winching it's usually a trouble situation and slowing things down usually amounts to better decisions.
