Heading out Thursday. Not a lot of planning, but better prepared in most ways than last year.
At the very least, looking forward to not having gas sloshing around on the 40 floor pan, and not towing it from Alexandria with a Tacoma.
Bought a couple of these from a parts wholesaler. They were supposed to be compatible with an FJ40 2F but clearly are not as I found today when I started to spin one on. Some kind of land cruiser or else the compatibility drop downs would not have matched with a '78 FJ40. Bought over a year ago and not worth trying to return.
I'll bring them if anyone can use them.

I think I'll plan on prepping my crab cake sliders on Thursday for a late afternoon snack after a day on the trails...should have about 2 dozen made with 2 oz. cakes on King's Hawaiian sweet rolls...I know they'll go fast, so find my early and I can make a list for those that want one! I'm heading up today and hope to be on site by 4:00, so I don't expect much cell/forum access after that...will check in from Winchester around 3:00 for any requests to put on the list. Looking forward to seeing those that I know, and meeting others that share the cruiser love!
