No potable water that I have ever noticed
I just bring a 5gal water cooler jug every year and I am good

I vaguely remember a ground pump near the bathrooms. There’s probably some scattered around the other campgrounds if you go look for one.

Thanks guys

I looked at the map and apparently there is "water points" at the bath house and front office. I just use my jug for dishes and washing hands so I'll risk it.

Water is available by the showers.

Big shoutout to @TRDdrew for lending me a larger set of shoes for this week so we can try to keep up with @TTViper, and installing new LCA in record time.

Since I'm a Fall Crawl noob and camper in general, is it obnoxious to bring a small inverter generator along for a few "necessities"? I was going to forgo the morning coffee thing....but those at the GER trip earlier this year understand my fetish with a good cappuccino! After waking up this morning after an evening out at my son's for a party last night and 1 (or 2) too many double IPA's (my wife drove), I realize that I'll really need my a.m. cup(s) o_O . I don't mind heating the milk over the camp stove, but there's really no substitute for a few good shots out of the espresso machine to make a perfect cup, and part of my every day ritual for years now.

Sam's club has a decent looking little unit for $400 that I may pick up if it isn't offensive at the camp ground, although it should be pretty quiet being an inverter unit. Also, I can write this off for business as I can use it at catering events when needed too, so a bonus there. I also thought about a small battery power station too like the EcoFlow River setup that could handle the same power needs, but I can't justify the use for work, so I'd have to cover the cost of this, plus it's $600. Either way, I would only expect to need the power for minutes a day, so no obnoxious running for hours thing if I go generator.

Any thoughts from the F/C veterans is appreciated!

I'm a fall crawl virgin as well. I hadn't really considered the generator noise issue as they're fairly common everywhere else I go for 4 wheeling events.

My gut says as long as you're respectful and only run it during normal waking hours, you should be fine. Hopefully that's the case because I'll need to run the rv generator during the day to recharge the house batteries. On that note, you'd be welcome to plug into the rv if you're just wanting to make coffee in the morning.

I got a jackery battery that I use for charging and running electronics at camp and it was a good deal at harbor freight actually.

I will say that the folks like to sleep in at fall crawl and are not morning people.

If you get a gen make sure it is one of the quite ones ... Honda has a good one that isn't too noisy but they are not cheap.

@ETCruiser you can borrow a battery pack to run the Expresso machine if you like I bring 2 of them

Advice from a crotchety old man, you will not make friends with a generator, any generator. Buy a Jetboil or borrow mine to make your morning coffee.

Much appreciated! What day are you going to be there?

One of my buddies can’t make it anymore. Send me a PM if someone needs a spot. Price is a case or 6 pack of some craft beer
