i own a 1991 LC.I dont like the stock rims it comes with ,i have seen these wheels on 4runners as well.these r the 15 inch rims.im looking into buying a set of landcruiser rims off a 1995 LC.BUT THEY R 16S will they fit my 1991 landcruiser?they r the oem rims that come standard on 93-97 lc,i think.....

Yes, they will fit.

You will need 16 inch tires to go along with them.

speaking of factory...do you know what one of the OEM 15x7 (on a 92) weighed? I don't have one loose to throw on a scale.

I would guess a 15x7 alloy at around 23 lbs.

I hope that you are using the lug nuts that are specific to the later model wheels.

I also take the time to explain to the wheel jockeys that the Alloy wheel torque is 76#s, and is NOT what they have listed in there reference guide, which happens to be for the steel wheel ... in my case.

No, I'd suggest you need slotted front rotors so that you can stop the rig when you realy need to. The extra rotating mass requires extra stopping power.

The newer model 80's have bigger rotors and bigger brake pads to help stop the truck. Slotted rotors will overcome this discrepency.

Yep, I couldn't believe CDan left that out.
