Just looked on toyodiy and I'm seeing the same front and rear driveshaft PNs for 93-94 and 95-97 80's. Is this correct? I was under the impression the 93-94's had shorter rear driveshafts?

Hi

Front driveshaft is the same for all FJ80 and FZJ80 trucks with all transmission models: 37140-60340

Rear drive shaft is different between versions:

1991-1994 (A440F/A442F transmissions): 37110-60460

1995-1997 (A343F transmission): 37110-60520

Hope that helps.

37110-60520 also applies to A442F with viscous coupler.

Thanks beno and CD!

So it sounds like for most US 80-series, the 93-94 and 95-97 F/R driveshafts are identical, since most (all?) came with viscous coupler.

Do the stock prop shafts come pre-greased and ready to go?

37140-60340
In my experience, yes. I have purchased two (front and rear) so far for my ‘97 and they were fully assembled, u-joints and slip joint full of grease, and ready to bolt in.

Not knowing better I marked and separated my new rear, greased the splines and ujoints with Valvoline Palladium and reassembled prior to installing

Just installed my front 37140-60340 factory fresh, drove it about 10 miles home, all good.
