F and 2F distributors (1 Viewer)

Are the F and 2F distributors physically the same size? As far as gear placement, etc. I have one out of an F and am thinking of putting in my new 2F for the initial startup. I then will be replacing it with HEI. My HEI is un-tested so I don't want to put it in yet.

They are the same in size. Use the F style clamp for the F dist.
