Beefed up the LCAs and running new bushings with HD torsion bars. I'm enjoying the new softer Wheelers front bump stops especially when I jump the speed dips and ditches.

Part number/link for lcs supports

Check around for different resellers. I found mine on sale last year.

so to install these, you remove the TBs ?

I installed mine during an LCA refresh. It will require the TB mount to be removed. Be sure to mark the index TB positions to make reinstallation easier.

I used a pair of needle nose vice grips to hold the bracket tight against the LCA when drilling the holes.

I learned about the brackets from a thread on here where a member had a TB mount break away from the LCA. I suspect we have members who added the brackets without removing the LCA.

Yes, no need at all to remove the LCAs--and you really don't need to remove the TBs either--just undo the two nuts holding the TB splined receiver thingmo to the LCA and slide it back far enough to clear the mounting studs, wiggle it out of the way, hang the bracket on the studs, and replace the TB receiver. I _think_ it might be possible to do this without even disengaging the splines completely, but I do recall cursing and wondering where the blasted index marks were, so clearly I disengaged at least one fully . . .

Only thing I hate about this upgrade is those bolt heads with lock washers stick down sooo far on a very-likely-to-be-rubbed-on-rocks spot. Seems like a button-head torx bolt with a nylock nut up above might be a very elegant mod to this install . . . wonder if anyone makes a button head that big. . .

The OME reinforcements are stupid cheap, BTW--got mine from Cruiser Outfitters.

Spot on, with just one addition, I had to loosen up the big bolt on torque arm (the end of TB towards the rear of the truck) to take tension off the LCA side of TBs.

Yup, I forgot to mention that. I also meant to point out that having the truck supported is a good idea.

Installed a set of Timbren bumpstops on the rear. Well made product.

So I’m trying to figure out how to protect my fenders once I install a 2 inch OME lift and 35x12.5, zero off set wheels/tires. Can anyone confirm that the wheeler or Timbren bump stops stop the suspension travel enough to avoid contact?

they will mitigate the force, but it will still "rub" depending on how hard you ride.

Has anyone tried these bumpstops? The GX people use them and the photos I say on FB look similar to the front mounts of the 100 series. If they work they are supa=cheap.
Amazon product ASIN B01E1SUO20
Edit: It will not allow me to post a link but they are Energy Suspension

Wheeler's off-road has bump stops for the fj/4runner that fit our vehicles and are half the price. I have them front and rear and have definitely noticed the difference with a 2in lift
Do you have a picture of your front bump stops?

@SDIAZ

I'm running dual Wheelers in the front. As you can see from the wear points in the picture, both are engaging at the about same time.

I do have extended length Trail Tailor end links front and rear with an additional inch of droop in the front that is provided by the shocks.

The lower control arms have been reinforced.

The front bump stops come in handy during water crossings when I'm driving over a water covered rock pile that I can't see.

That's where the front suspension takes a lot of unexpected hits.

You can see the rocks sticking up out of the water in the picture below.

As you can see in the picture, the extended bumps don't engage on a crawl over. Its to soften the blow and help with control when you land on the other side.
