Exploring the Chiva area sunday 1/8/06

My wife has the day off and we talked about going around the Chiva area a bit. Probably go in on the Italian trap road adn take that over to the pools for lunch. Who knows from there.

Any interest post here and I'll set a meeting time

BTW this will be my last chance to wheel for about a month and only the second time my wife has ever gone out. She's usually working so it's always me and Zoe. Hope some of you can come out

The road to the pools is open.
The road through the Trap is closed.

Try that LEFT side though you might need a front locker. I've always locked both.

Youre right John, the old original road thru the trap is closed but, it now goes in front of the hill and connects up with the middle road.

Appreciate the notice, but I've got a family cook-out planned, probably 7-Mile Wash NE of Phoenix. Gotta take the mother-in-law and friends out for some steak! (Anyone else has to provide their own damn steak.)

Alvin: I've completed the site on the Chiva trip from last February. On it, it shows the huge floods AND some pics from that left side of Three Feathers. I only have one of me in the 80. Brian has the rest on a CD. Hey Brian.....email me some pics from the left side of 3 Feathers so Ican post. Will ya!?

Amazing how the Cherokee and the Bronco handled the obstacle while Brian and me zipped right up. GO FOR IT! Try it with a rear locker only. It might be a go!

OK, seems to be a little interest so lets say 9am at the Circle K at 11271 east Tanque Verde
I'll be on CB ch 7. Bring a lunch, planning on exploring some roads I haven't taken in the general area of the main Chiva road.

1. XJ..body damage
2. Bronco..minor damage
3. 80 with 3" lift and L-shocks..no damage
