ELS was founded by my brother and I June of 2012. We ran our first ever group buy with no prior experience back in December, the "80 Series Group Buy" was a mind blowing success. We ran into a few speed bumps, and smashed into a few walls on the way. But the speed bumps ended and the walls fell down.

With many new products and changed we figure we would do another run for the MUD community since this forum is why I love Land Cruisers. It's the spring, weather is warming up, and wheeling season is about to kick off! Why not grab some shiny new lights?

We are offering a 25% off during this group buy. This will put prices very close to the first group buy we did. The light bars are now powder coated, more efficient, and more lumens. The single row LED Light bars are ready to go, we will be adding them to this GB mid April, so if you are wanting a single row you will be able to order around the 20th.

All orders are made through the website unless you have a unique request. Contact information, and information regarding logistics and payment is at the bottom of this post.

No picture on file. 52" won't fit on the 100, my roof rack isn't wide enough. I will have one on file soon. The design is identical, though a bit larger.

Products Pending

We have a Tessera 2X3 which will compete with the Dually D2

A full line of 10W Cree LED single row light bars.

These will be added over the next few days. So please stay tuned if you want to purchase a single row or the 2X3's.

The 25% off ends on April 30th. That is when the last order will be accepted. Any order after that will be 15%. The order will be submitted by April 29th, shipping will begin May 10th (Friday). I am not a fan of long turn arounds, it must be quick! However things do happen, so please understand that date is subject to change. We use a importer and the lights come via overnight to us. However, customs can hold us up for a few days.

These lights come with a lifetime warranty through us (Expedition Lighting Systems). We have a 1 Year warranty ourselves, but we did not think that was enough. This covers and defects from the manufacture. The 9006 Connectors are INCLUDED with your purchase, if you would like additional please email me and let me know. I will drop a few extras in your order.

We are using a powder coated extruded 6061 Aluminum housing with 5mm Polycarbonate lens (Lexan is the same thing, just a trademarked "brand name"). They are IP67, I have personally thrown a 7.5" and a 32" in a 5FT Pool and had no issues, if you sink your front bumper or roof 5FT deep in water the lights are the last of your worries (unless you really need that diesel swap)

If you are coming to GSMTR I will be delivering your light bar in person to you at camp. If you are attending GSMTR please PM me on MUD or at my email and I will send you a invoice without shipping. I will be arriving May 15th (Tuesday) and leaving May 18th (Sunday).

Payment is via PayPal only at this time. Please PM me if you would like to order another way.

What are the lumen output ratings for the new designs?

They on the website, each product has the lumen count and other information. I will post up here so people don't have to click around and search. The changes in design is powder coating, and a slight change in the LED Drivers.

Jonesy's offroad has U-Cradles now. I will be offering them in this GB. I'll have the details within 24 hours.

This very good, as I'll be looking for the light with U-shape mounts. Would you just swap your mounts to Jonesy or it will be additional cost?

I know some plastic lenses fade and become yellow after time and can be easily scratch. Do you have guarantee on your lenses against yellowing? Can they be replaced in the future without replacing the light unit?

P.S. I PMed you on the Atlas light bars.

The lens are polycarbonate (Lexan). They will not yellow overtime, I will take a key and nail to the lens and shoot a video later today.

Whats the word on the single row lights?

Honestly, I was excited to announce a new single row light bar, however I have not had the chance to actually run them on my truck for a few months and give them a thorough shake down. I would prefer to do that. I will keep you posted on them, but I do not think I will be offering them in this GB. Sorry.

Any info on the 2x3 lights mentioned above? I have been thinking about getting some 2x2's for bed lights but wondered how the output and price compared to the 2x3's.

Any updates on the U-shape mounts for the lights?
It was mentioned that they'll be art of the GB as well.

Undecided between the 14" and the 22" bars to go on top of my ARB Bumper Bar!

As of right now I will be ordering a bunch of the 2X3's to get my hands on them, as well as photos. The 2X3's are rated at 1,650 lumens (400 more than the 2X2). However they are quite a bit larger from the specs I have seen. I will know more in a few days once I place the order.

Jonesys's Off-Road (vendor on MUD, maxxmaven) is offering them. I will email Shawn and request pictures.

Undecided between the 14" and the 22" bars to go on top of my ARB Bumper Bar!

Let me know! The 22" fits snug on the 80 Series ARB and the Iron Man bumpers. The 32" fits best for the 100 Series ARB. The Slee bumper needs a much smaller bar.

As for the Single Row LED Light Bars, I will run a separate GB in the future for those. I would like to get my hands on them and test them out. I don't want to run into any problems with customers or members if they don't hold up (I know they will, but I would prefer to test and beat them up for a few months).

I will be placing the order no later than Friday (April 26th). So far I really don't have enough orders to warrant a purchase (in short, I won't break even with shipping/custom fees). For those who have ordered, you will be getting yours lights. So no need to worry.

My PM box is exploding (between HID Retro's, and LED questions) so the best way to get ahold of me is via email. If you would like to talk over the phone I will be more than happy to give you a ring or email you my phone number.

I will buy a 22" bar if it fits my ARB top bar on the original taps!

Let me know I am a buyer you seem to have alot of experience on the LED subject so I am giving you a try! Now I do not know if I want a combo or spot? If they are better then my IPF I will probably buy another bar!

Just ordered 32" bar! Thanks and can't wait.

I got your order. Thanks!

I would suggest the Jonesys' Mounts. They will allow you to use the ARB Light Tabs that are welded on. If you are mounting it on the bumper If you do any type of fast driving I would recommend the spot. It keeps the foreground light minimal, and keeps the hot spot far out in front where you need the light. If you do slower trails that are heavily forested, the combo beam is going to be best. The combo is going to have more foreground lighting, which is not ideal for long distance range. The more foreground light on a vehicle, the smaller your pupils will be and your vision at night will actually decrease (on the sides, and long range).

That being said, if you throw a 42" spot on the roof you no longer have that problem :D

Also,

Update on the timeline. For those who have placed an order I will be submitting that to the manufacture tomorrow afternoon. I am looking at a 5-7 day time frame by the time I place the order to the time I have them on hand. Again, if you are coming to GSMTR I will be bringing your lights as well so please email me and let me know. I have a few people that have placed orders and I will be dropping them off at their camp during the event.

I will be ordering plenty of extras, the group buy was moved from the lighting section and into the Merchandise Storefront portion, which slows the traffic. I have most of the items in-stock and will begin shipping those orders that I can fulfill this weekend. We are also moving out of our location in Chicago, and moving all inventory to Atlanta during this time as well. This will allow for quicker shipping times and a better idea on what we have on the shelfs. My brother (George) handles all shipping and has a full time job, with him being busy I feel that it would be best to have the inventory on hand in Atlanta (since I deal with the customers directly, it just makes more sense).

The orders shipping this weekend will be the for the first orders that came in on the group buy. Right now we have 12 orders. Not high volume by any means. But I will be ordering extras and setting up a "endless" group buy that has time slots. In other words if you order on June 1st-June 30th your order will be in the June order bracket. If that makes sense....

Anyways, I am shooting for a May 8-10th ship date for this months run.

Look for me in this truck at GSMTR Nick!! Thanks Rance
