Yup, been using them at the shop since '98 and I have some customers that have been on there for nearly 10 years, but garaged kept, you can't tell they have been sprayed.
I got two sets of Rigid Cubes from the "Australiano afectado por rayos Ultravioletas" and as a perk got some green lense covers with a set of them (no idea what they are made for, but hey fun color.
Will the yellow cover work as well as the lense paint...??
This trail has been on my list for a while now. If you know NORCAL trails then you know this one has been closed for several years due to environmental concerns. After lots of work by the local clubs the trail finally opened back up last year. This is one of the last trails to open for the season and the earliest to close (usually opens up early August). Barrett Lake is short but pretty tough. 6 miles in, 6 miles out, only one road in. At the end of the trail is the beautiful lake.
Trail is dusty. Seriously, the dustiest trail I've been on. Really bumpy, like annoying bumpy where you can't go fast but not so difficult that you need to crawl. There's a handful of really tough spots. Trail is also incredibly tight and narrow. Every turn or boulder you go over, there is a tree waiting to cause damage. Nice warm-up for those that haven't tried the Rubicon.

Why I no longer run a rear bumper and want more butt clearance!
Working! And finny family time. Trying (read procrastinating) to get my rig ready for my new annual bday Barrett run at end of sept. And got a glam per for the ladies, so now they'll come as long as there's a place to park it. (So wrights/Barrett lake probably will be next trip.)
Yeah, chance just did his front end.
Maybe signal peak with the whole fam soon.
Yeah you know I'm always gonna have the itch to do the chop. I'll see what happens when I finally finish chopping the rear quarters and rockers. Wheeling with the mini truck guys is a bad influence.
As for weekend trips, I might be available toward the end of Sept. What were you thinking?
Dusty trails are the one thing I hate with the top cut off. Half doors have been a great improvement; however, I keep hankerchiefs in the tuffy box. Maybe I should upgrade to some dust masks.
Don't let me stop you from cutting the top off. I would never go back. A whole different adventure every time. You know you want to do it!
Edit: I was on the fence for a year until someone needed a rear hatch glass in our local club. I sold it to him, and that committed me to the project. So, put an add in the classifieds!
