I can't do this weekend, but I'm off for the next week and a half so I'd really like to at least do a day trip to Truckhaven.

Well there is another trip planned for next Saturday too. It is not TruckHaven but a really great trail and a really great group of guys with some serious rigs!

That's looks tempting, is there a good area near the trailhead to leave a tow rig?

Yeah at the gas station in Jacumba right off of the 8 before you head down the grade into Plaster City.

Turns out my brother and some other guys are doing Truckhaven this Saturday, so I am going to be rolling out there with them.
