So the world is ending in 33 days. :hhmm: :confused:
Anyone want to go wheeling??? How about an over nighter Friday night 12 21 2012 and if we are still alive on Saturday the 22nd we go :steer:

OK so it looks like we have decided on camping up in Sheep Canyon Friday night, watching the End Of The World! Waking up Saturday morning to conquer the New World in our Land Tanks with a brief stop off in Truck Haven!

I should be done base lining my new cruiser by then. Count me in if I'm done with it.
 
I may come out for the night. My wedding anniversary is the next day so I will need to beat feet back home or else risk being cut off from my Cruiser fund.:rolleyes:

What about Sheep Canyon for the overnight?
 
Shoot! I'd have been game, but we're going to an End of the World party/christmas party and each of the couples is bring a 'last supper' type dish we'd like to have as our 'last meal' before the world ends. Have fun!
 
You know, I have never stayed up in Sheep Canyon! So that works for me.

BTW, looks like I am heading out to Borrego Saturday morning to meet my VW Buggie friends. I think we are going to go up Old Cup Canyon then loop back down to camp at Peg Leg. It is a pretty funny site with 3 Manx, 1 Baja Bug, 1 Thing and an Iron pig carrying on the tools.....

Water crossings were closed?

Do you mean the gate was locked? Coyote Canyon is closed from June 1 to October 1 for the Big Horn Sheep.

Or do you mean that they removed the rocks and restored the glory of the third crossing?
 
I heard they had blocked the entrance to third crossing with rocks and created a bypass. I sure hope it is re-opened, my kids love it!!! It reminds them of jungle cruise at Disneyland.
 
I've always wanted to play in the water crossings in sheep canyon! Now I just need to find it lol.

it's Sheep Canyon, not Sheeps Canyon

Sorry, such a stickler for the details... :p

I was keeping it simple since I was thumbing it on my iPhone.

It's the water crossing from Santa Catarina Spring in Coyote Creek that takes you to Sheep Canyon. :flipoff2:

Alright, I have confirmed that I am in and bringing a buddy who is soon to be a Cruiser Head. I have edited the first post as you see above. I plan on leaving work in Poway by 3:30 to head out to Sheep Canyon. If anyone can head out earlier that would be great to score the best spot.

So now it's time to put up or shut up if you are in or Not!

I'm in!

I have the day off so will try and get out there early to nab a spot. Don't know if I will be able to do Truckhaven the next day (if we are still alive) since it is my anniversary and need to get back to the :princess:.

It all depends on the swell that is projected to come in next week. If it is good I will be surfing before the END OF THE WORLD one last time. :D:flipoff2:
