Hey,

I have 1981 2H engine

I just purchased PWT gauge from red arc. Found a shop that makes reducers but unsure of cylinder head thread is.

Cylinder head size looks maybe around a m18x1.5

the oil sender I think just needs a 1/8” bspt to 1/8” Npt adapter.

this is the OEM oil pressure sender

redarc sender threads are 1/8” npt

NPT = 27 threads/inch. BSPT = 28. You need extraordinary vision to discern the difference!

Are you certain that the new sender has tapered threads?

well redarc data sheet saying 1/8” NPT,
It doesn’t look tapered though which is confusing me,

im really chasing the block thread and size

below is the jacket water temp port I want to.

It's likely the threads on the water jacket are BSPT as well.

Are those metric measurements on the major and minor column?

Ordered some fittings through speed flow,
Oil pressure sender 1/8” bspt male to 1/8” npt female adapter

water jacket
There’s a spare plug that the previous owner had a mechanical temp gauge wired in and from what I’ve found going off part number looks like a M18x1.5

so I’ve gone a M18x1.5 to 1/8”npt reducer.
