BTW, just noticed I don't have a hood liner... what purpose does it serve? Sound deadening or keeping it warm in the winter?

Probably helps the surface paint live. Others have notice a tad more noise. I’m going to use a Dynamat equivilant on mine.

Got mine installed this morning, hardest part was drilling holes in weird positions for mounting stuff.
I modified it a bit as well, I added a connector between the relay and tilt switch so I can remove the hood without undoing any of it (I’m pulling my engine next weekend).

Very satisfied with the light output in the well lit shop, very excited to try it at night. I positioned my lights as it’s instructed in the manual and they just barely clear the core support.
