Hello Gang,

Forgive me if this has been brought up... In the last two days I've sent (2) emails to them about their products, and no response. So, I'm just wondering..?

Thank you.

I've never been able to get an email response from them - my cat back system came without (front) gaskets, they were eventually shipped but UPS delivered to the wrong address. No response on getting the delivery sorted out.

Good product, but customer service is not there.

I'm heavily interested in a cat back system. But I'm also thinking of pulling the trigger on the mid pipes as well.

I hate to say this about a MUD vendor (not really...). But EMS is a joke, their exhaust systems cause CEL's, their customer service is non-existent, and they do not response to and warranty claims. Many mud members have been burnt by EMS.

Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with the cheap EMS exhaust I put on my truck. It was rubbing on my driveline under loaded suspension. Also, the hangar on the muffler was too short and kept falling out, etc.... I finally had it welded and got rid of the clamps, and they made enough adjustments to keep it from rubbing on the driveline. After that the fitment was OK, but not even a month later the internals of the muffler literally came apart. I installed a Magnaflow, which I should have just done in the first place. Completely worthless system basically, and the customer support is...non-existent.

I don't know how many times I need to be reminded, but you get what you pay for.

wow, glad to hear I didn't jump on the bandwagon a year ago when everyone was buying them up...
how about calling - do they answer their calls? i do recall them being somewhat responsive to my initial questions about their products via emails a year ago when the wanted my money. sounds like a different story once they have it...

Can you elaborate on the CEL's?

Do you have CAT or NO CAT midpipes?

Doug Thorley has been around a long time and still, after 3-years of false advertising, hasn't presented us with a CARB compliance certificate for their headers as promised.

EMS has been around a long time and has 10 years of bad rep to prove it.

fixed it for you

I do not own any EMS products for the obvious reason. I've seen many MUD members posting up with CEL issues after they install the cat pipes, the mufflers failing after a few months, with no response from EMS. I'm sorry, I may be slow at running my business but I ALWAYS get back to my customers and take care of them. I'm a one man show, EMS employs many people. No excuse.

Hmmm, it would seem hard to get a CEL if the CAT was doing anything. That's strange.

I am hoping to get mine installed soon, we'll see what happens.

The substitution of cheap knock off mufflers for the Magna Flows was obviously a sign that they were spiraling the bowl...

Nope EMS used to employee many people. Now it is a 1 man shop operating on nights and weekends while the owner has a fulltime job unrelated to cruisers. Products are all over the spectrum based on outsourcing the original designs but most are still better quality than crush bent aluminized steel exhaust. Not sure who I would go to today if I needed new exhaust, probably find a local shop and do a custom. And I think EMS is no longer a vendor and their last log in was 2 months ago.
