Just received a brief blurb from WaytekWire announcing their new updated website and a request to reinstate my log-in credentials. I’ve gotta tell ya, for those who have never visited their site or ordered their real turn-the- page catalog, it’s an EXPERIENCE! Please, try TOYOTA MATT & other MUD vendors first, but for your way out, eye pop‘in & eye-candy electrical needs, take a peek at their voluminous website…a great resource I’ve used more than once.

try Toyota Matt out of the gate

Delcity is another good source. any time i get a chance, i always change out the old toyota connectors for delphi (adaptiv) connectors. They are double locking and sealed better than the older toyota connectors and dont become as brittle. There is no chance the wire will pull from the back of them, and there will be zero moisture in the connecting joint.

GT150 will handle 14 amps and will be good enough for 90% of your needs. If you need bigger, the 280 will do 30 amps.

Cool, I'll go check it out! I like Digikey as well.

I've been trying to place an order with Del City for a week and their website is down. Nobody answers the phone. I ended up buying elsewhere. Any word on that @dbbowen ?

For general electronics stuff I've been a Mouser guy for years, but I might have to look into Waytek. Every time I hop on there they seem comparatively expensive though.

I'll also plug Eastern Beaver in Japan. They specialize in motorcycle electrical. Seems like a one-man shop and the guy was great to work with, FedEx delivered the package in four days. Only place in the world I've been able to find new Yazaki wire for purchase by a consumer/end user. Corsa Technic is pretty good too - lots of connectors there. There's other esoteric suppliers out there too. Antique Electronic Supply for audio stuff, for example. Small Bear Electronics is also audio-centric but they have obscure transistors, diodes, and ICs that are long out of manufacture and can sometimes turn up in the antique vehicle applications.

Admittedly i havent ordered from Del city in a while, i try and buy somewhat large quantities of stuff when i order but i just tried their site and it looks down. Looks like this Waytek place is the next place ill try. Amazon does sell Delphi (adaptiv) stuff but you can never know if its real or Chinese fake connectors unfortunately.
