i finally got my top on, pics to be posted soon. The fit is wicked tight and the black canvas looks good on my rig. I will have to say this....installing those loop thingies suck

So I got around to installing my top this weekend. Keep in mind I have the original type A bows that came with the truck. I am pretty satisfied with the fit overall. i will have to shim the front windshield channel to clear the wipers but I think it should be fine. It fits tight but i think when i get the grommets and twist locks installed it should be a good fit.
I got the white vinyl top in an attempt to match the original top on the vehicle. I am concerned with the appearance of the top. I scrubbed it down with soap and water and can't seem to get some of the marks from the pen that was used to trace on the template. I have two large gray marks on either side beneath the windows that looks like die from the zippers. This die is also all over the inside of the top, not as concerned with that as the outside. I can't seem to get any of it off.
1- Does anyone have this issue?
2- Does anyone know of a special cleaner to use?
Also the zipper seems to be pretty cheap and the pull already broke.
Full Install (less twist locks)
Pen marks (Just a few, they are pretty much around every window and along the back zipper)
Die marks (They are more noticeable in person, pics don't really show it well)
Broken Zipper (Also note the pen marks vertically)

I got the same color top, I'll let you know if I find anything that get the pen marks and zipper dye out

Thanks for all the help. I will fix all the issues and get it installed when I get back from vacation.
Let me just say that I think the top looks great and the fitment issues aren't a problem, I just needed info from you all to make it work.
I think one area Ehsan could improve on is the fit of the "spreaders". It seams that they do not fit on anyone's truck, so maybe the template is wrong.
But overall I'm very satisfied. Alex is the man... we got this order done in 6 months - a record as far as I can tell!

With the rubber/white vinyl top that you have...4 things come to mine you may want to try:
1) Magic Eraser Clean Walls and Erase Set-In Dirt with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
2) Rubbing Alcohol
3) Clorox Wipes
4) Acetone ...this will definatly work!!!
Try in a small area
make sure you wash all the areas thoughly with soap and water when done

Ehsan said he shipped out a top for me close to a month and 1/2 ago and still no top. I have emailed him today and am waiting for a response. I would not think it would take this long. As for the zippers most of mine failed during the install. Just because it says usa on it does not mean it is made here in the U.S.A. That being said the tops are cool and with some minor attention to details they are great. They make the 40 look like it came of the African plains and are more funtional that the tiger top I had before. I can't wait for the vinyl replacement top to arrive.

Note to self... Don't use vice grips to close your zipper.

I am honestly the only one that has notice the quality issue with the zippers? I have another one that is already bent. I hardly even used them because I was scared they were all going to break.Note to self... Don't use vice grips to close your zipper.
I will try the magic eraser for the marks, but i think it's quite odd to even see the pen marks still on the top. Do any of you with the canvas tops see these types of marks?
I too have pen marks all over my canvas top..... I posted pics in my thread. I tried several ways to remove the ink..... wouldn't budge.
Every top we got had pen marks.
How do I go about even ordering one of these tops, I would love to have one; they look great! How much do you think it would be to get one delivered to your front door??
DHL is the only way he will ship one top and it is a flat rate of $500.00.
