Hey all,
Can the belt tensioner on a 2011 be replaced without removing the radiator & fan & everything, or is it a more complicated job?

Not sure if it is a lot of work, or if I just haven’t figured out the magic moves yet.
Thanks!
Abe
How small are your hands and arms...
A malnourished child might be able to get his/her hands and arms in there with a wrench.
The effort involved in draining the coolant and removing the radiator, etc. will be far less work than trying to work with them in place.
Just my opinion.

I actually managed to do it without too much trouble. Removed the overflow tank, and the fan itself (set it inside the shroud). A little bit blind, and lost a little skin from scratches, but wasn’t too tough.

The bigger issue now is that I went from having a little belt squeal at start up, that went away quickly, to now having massive, horrible belt squeal & the belt getting hit quickly before shutting it all down. Not sure what could be going on here.

Anyone have any ideas, or experienced something similar?
Thanks!
Abe
