Time and the changing seasons over the last 15 years has been touch on the rear door exterior door handles. Anyone ever replaced them? If so, how many bananas are we talkin'?

Thanks for the help

I have not had to do a door handle replacement on the barn door, but I did a rear camera relocation after getting the MetalTech rear bumper with spare tire swing-out. The door panels come off easy. If I remember right there a couple of screws, one is in the hand hold on top by the window. I forget where the other may be if there is a second screw. Once the panels were off and peeled back the clear plastic protective sheeting, it looked pretty simple back there.
To get an idea, it'll only take you about 5 minutes to pull the door panels and take a look for yourself to see if it's too hard to R&R.
This is on the main forum page also, but here's a link to the Manuals thread: GX 460 Manuals
I think it's the third post that will have a link to the GX FSM manual. Look through there and you'll find an exploded view with all the part numbers and how it goes together.
Hope it helps!

Yes, it's DIY if you've got the time and liquid courage. You can get color matched handles to remove the gross fake chrome. Didn't take long per door. DO NOT ORDER CHINESE KNOCKOFFS!!

The rubber gaskets for door handles are P/N 6924260080 and P/N 6924160060.

Black door handles:
69210-60150-C0 - Handle, Front Door (Qty: 2)
69250-60030-C0 - Handle Cover, Front Door RH
69217-60150-C0 - Handle Cover, Front Door LH
69211-60090-C0 - Handle, Rear Door (Qty: 2)
69250-60010-C0 - Handle Cover, Rear Door (Qty: 2)

2/5 bananas. Pop the door panels off and it’s just a few bolts/screws. Do the back first, they are slightly easier. Also, I agree with buy oem. They are like $170ish per at bell Lexus.

Do those replacements retain the touch lock/unlock feature on the front handles? Hadn't seen that asked before.

I ordered the Chinese knockoffs and took the chrome plating off of them and put a lot of 3M tape on them and used zip ties to secure them on there for several hours. Looks much better than the cracked OEM ones after 14 years. I kept the OEM actual handles…just replaced the covers.
