WOW...very very nice, but I say like you on the price :eek::eek:

Anyone knows who's this is?

there's an extra zero on there.

For $30K I'd expect a car wash and a steering wheel.

A few more things missing then the canvas and wipers. Front bumper, back seats, license plate bracket, tail lights, spare tire carrier and dash plates. Plus it looks like some of those wheels are old chevy wheels not 25s. The wipers are very hard to find. How much for the canvas? $3,000? At best I would guess around five grand because it has the bows and doors plus the condition of the body.

John

Just look again few other things missing too also is that a hole in the back if the tub:frown:

True, it is missing loads of stuff, but this one still looks pretty nice compared to the one I am currently bring up from the states...mine will be a loooong term restoration :wrench:

I just can't get over the $30 000...I'd expected a completed, running, white glove approved 25 with significant historical value for that price :meh:

Nice but if the past is any indication of price it's only worth 3-5k. Only 25k overpriced. I wonder what he's going to think after 2 listings unless it's a mushro listing.

The closer he gets to $30k....................................the more mine are worth.:bounce::bounce2: Seriously, my insurance company talked me into declaring a $10k value on Krusty, but I think they were after the extra $10 in premiums per year. ;)

Anyone notice the FJ40 style turn signal rod sticking up? Interesting if it came that way. Lets see what the VIN says....

My money is on a upgrade:rolleyes: Now I want to see what steering wheel it has. That probably off of a 40 too. So if you have one with all the original parts it's worth 50K:bounce::bounce2:

I feel a rant coming on....maybe I can get it together by Christmas....

Started at $30,000 with a RESERVE COT MET. Now it's at $18,000 no reserve plus a BUY IT NOW at $18,000. I wonder how low it will go. I may be up for a road trip if they come down low enough.

Just noticed that the fuel pump doesn't have the hand primer. But I guess it doesn't need it since it has a electric fuel pump mount on the fender:rolleyes:

"The appraisal was done by an insurance company"

I knew it! :D No conflict of interest there....... Ins. guy thinking to him self: "Hmmmm if I say it's worth 30k then.... I can get that new boat!"

The funny thing about cars is... they will break down weather you drive them or not... Low miles doesn't mean much if it sat for 19 years and was never turned over.... Regardless, every seal in it probably needs to be replaced....

I rebuilt a "rebuilt" engine this winter, that had sat for 10 years.... I had to pull the heads and take a wire wheel to the cylinders just to get it to turn over so I could get it unbolted from the auto trans....
