Since I had to submit my vacation requests already I have been giving some thought to the dates for the pig run this year. To me it looks like August 20 and 21 would work well. This is a Friday and Saturday and will be held at Rausch Creek here in PA. Anybody and everybody driving a Toyota 4X4 is welcome and maybe even a few other offbrands might show....... In any event feel free to feed back to me if you might be interested in making the "event". Calling it an event isn't really accurate, though- it's about as laid back a get-together as you can imagine. Thanks, Gary S (Shmukster)

Planning so far ahead....I AM SHOCKED, CONFUSED, BEFUDDLED, BEWILDERED, APPAULED, AMAZED, DISMAYED, DISBONDANT, ETC... but most of all impressed at the demonstration of organizational excellence displayed by our fearless East Coast keeper of the swine. I suppose I'll show up...again

I'll say I'm in! Always wanted to go to Rausch Creek anyway.

No pig for me, but that won't stop me from hanging with some ugly vehicles....I'll be there....maybe I'll even have my hilux running by then :grinpimp:

Is there ever a southwest run? I'd love to go to one, but I can't spare the time to drive across country. There are some great trails around as well as lots of other spots in the SW.

No TLCA clubs in the SW have any sanctioned or even non-sanctioned TLCA events that I've ever heard of. Y'all have the best wheelin in the country, so why not organize one? Doesn't have to be like the big one's, just a small swine gathering. You can make it as big or as nondiscreet as possible.

Wow, I would really like to come up for this, but I am going to have a month-old-baby at home in August so I am going to have to wait until next year. PLEASE keep having these so I can make it sometime!

Ill drive up from Florida...Was planning to anyway. Might as well plan it around this trip!

Ill keep my eyes peeled...

see you there

Dude.... Was going to ask... Are you making it to Coal Miner Cruiser Classic?

I will be driving up for CMCC (already booked a cabin) for sure but will keep my eye on this if something gels for the pig run. We have not wheeled together in a long time....way to long of a time. Looking forward to hearing some Northeast rocks grinding there way across the bottom of my rig:D

lowtide, gundy, LC.... one of you has a big trailer right? :D

Id like to make it but timing puts it right after a trip out west. My rig has made it to two but alas I havent.
There was a lot of swine swapping this year and now Brian and Waynes rigs not being there It doesnt seem the same. Like i said, never made one but dreamed of it and drooled over the previous years posts.

Pig run

The dates in the initial post seem to be OK with most people so we'll go with those. Joe Mylie was asking, so- Joe- here's the info. Gonna make it this year? Joe attended every pig run we've held except for last year........... By the way I wheeld at Rausch this past friday and got to explore the new section a bit. Lotsa room over there and some interesting stuff. Some nice easy greens, too, a neat hill climb, some blacks, interesting. It's very dry at rausch right now- trail 10 was absolutely dry, never saw it like that before. Gary S

I've been thinking of a swine run in the San Rafael Swell or something - maybe Moab. That could be fun. I know of a handful of running and driving pigs in the SL area, and there's more spread around such as yourself down in NM.. I wonder what kind of turnout we'd see if something was planned for fall?
