came home from work tonight to be greeted by:

Last week I jumped onto the Titan TW12 - 12,000 lbs winch w/ synthetic line group buy, and while the credit card was out, also ordered a Titan Max Air Compressor and tank kit.

Mot taught me how to unpack parcels. First, the compressor.

comes with a relief valve and a quick connect

here's the data plate

the tank is tapped with 5 outlets

will need wire, fuse and on/off switch to complete install

now for the winch, it looks well packed

the solenoid controller box has extra long leads for remote mounting

I'll re-clock the winch for feet forward mounting

also, comes with wireless remote

Of course, I have to wait for the warranty period to end before even considering installing any of this. Next update in 2014...

So sweet! Well done Vern.

my bad.

Did your winch come with free tire deflators?!?!?

Also... how would you rate the quality of your compressor??? Mine cheap one broke -- the rotor coils started coming unsoldered from the slip ring segments. I have repaired twice but...

Yours looks very similar to mine except only one piston. (Amazon.com: Q Industries MF1089 MasterFlow Twin Air Compressor: Automotive)

But maybe the quality is a lot better? CFMs sound pretty good too!

How many cycles/times did you use it? I just got a Titan air compressor and will be testing it out against a harbor freight model.

I think I bought it in 2009. Probably aired down/up 30 times. Also the odd bike tire, and ran the brad nailer to do a bit of trim in my house. Didn't seem like much at all.

(And before anyone asks, no I did not trim my entire house with it, I used my shop compressor for most of it...!)

Can you give us your tire size and pressures - and 'air up time' on the compressor for the 1st tire (and the 4th tire when she is smoking hot!)

Need to go wheeling for that. Sounds like a good excuse. Well, you could do it in your driveway, but, well, that's like dressing up for your dog.

well now you need a tec day or two to get it all going and a beefy bumper too

Update on that compressor? Have you tried it yet?
