Is that an altimeter on the dash? Lots of great parts on that rig.

It is a real good thing I don't live out west, because every one of these would come home with me................... :p

All depends on what you want to do with it. As it sits, it is relatively unmolested, and if the body is good under the crappy paint, it would make an outstanding restoration candidate. Most everything original, even the early bumper, is there. I'd wager the hubcaps are in the truck. Or, it would make a heck of a parts donor (don't expect to get rich) if you decide to modify it.

If the motor turns (noting the 2' pipe wrench) you should be good. Price? Whatever you can work out with the seller. ;)

Well most everything, looks like the wheels have been replaced, so I withdraw my wager on the hubcaps. ;p Also the drivers turn signal is not original, but the passenger one is an original double sided one. Also the original dealer didn't get the memo on how high to install the Stratolite reflectors..................

I'll say like Jim...looks pretty decent...I would seriously look at a true restoration.

Prices are a hard thing to pin down. What one guy would be willing to pay for a model he REALLY wants, and what another is will to pay for a trail rig are two different things all together. That being said, I've seen people pay big bucks for crap, and other practically give away some true gems.

Has he given you any indications of his price range?

as far as prices he's at 2500 and yes this would go true resto.

If you can bring him down on the price, then that would be great, but I would go for it even at $2500! There are a few things you will need to hunt down...like another turn signal...but there is so much that looks still original, that this would make a great restoration...my two cents

BTW...I was happy to read that it would be a true resto...as many times people say restoration, but in fact it is only a frame off, or rebuild...which is fine, but is in no way a "restoration"...just a pet peeve of mine.

nice thing is it's pretty much all original and not all hacked up. to me it would be worth it for a true resto. Stamped bezel, masters, generator, large site glass carb, pto. Pretty straight panels... etc. all of which if not there take time to find.

Looked at that generator and thought nice to see it still had the factory generator then realized it looks like GM unit. One of my FJ25s had that generator. Took a few years but I finally have collected a few. They are harder to find than the stamped bezel, lucky they go for a lot less when you do find one.

Looked again might see the handle for the primer on the fuel pump:bounce:

Lot of cool stock stuff on this cruiser

carburetor?;)

last time I saw a rear deck that big it had a transom behind it with the words "Wild Turkey" written across it:D.

same thing here. a rebuild is not a resto.

wonder if it has the centered rear diff?
