If you want to go, what date works better for you?

Hit the trail early on Thursday and make it to Thompson Lake
Hit Ershim Lake on Friday and Saturday
Head out on the Sunday

I would like to limit this run to about 10 rigs

33" tires and at least 1 locker or 2 (un)limited slips.

Keep in mind this is 33 miles of trail and the nearest Napa, if they have the parts it will take you a days drive there and back. If not, Marlin might have them but he's in Fresno 4 hrs round back to Shaver Lake.

Body damage is likely. There is a tree that has taken out more than one 4runner side window and I assume it will take out a rain gutter or two.

This is strickly a friendly gathering, bring your own grub, libations and spare parts. No profit will be had from this gathering of Cruiser Heads.

Too early to tell but I suspect the rest of my crew may come in from the top on that Saturday if we go in Oct.

I think Marlin's Birthday is sept 15-16th? they hold the roundup on the weekend close to his birthday if I remember correctly.

Fo shizzel. This is on like Donkey Kong even if we only have two wagons and a mini. I hope the mini will make it. Next time you're over there take a sharpie pen and write it on his calander.

I want to go but can't. I will be at Courtright end of July. Family has a cabin on the lake. I have never driven the whole trail, just taken my 62 (when it was still stock) to the base of chicken rock. I wasn't even sure if a wagon could make the run all the way. I've hiked up to the domes in the area, red hat, Maxon, etc., spent time on dusy creek and helms meadow and never thought my wagon could make it. Sounds like fun though!
