Does anyone have the part number for the door lock sensor that clips onto the back of the lock for the front door?

I'm pretty sure mine is dead and that is why i cant program a remote.

When i start the truck with the drivers door open, then close it, the locks activate twice to unlock.

When i unlock just the drivers door with the key and open the door, the alarm goes off. If i open all doors with the key the alarm won't sound.

I looked on the OEMparts website and the toyodiy and couldn't find it.

Thanks guys.

Broken wire in the drivers door wire harness.

Here is what mine did, drivers door lock did not work with the remote, lock or unlock. Put truck in gear, doors lock EXCEPT drivers door, because it was not locked the other doors would unlock.
If I locked drivers door manually and then put it in gear all doors locked normal.

Pressing the lock/unlock button on drivers door operated all doors EXCEPT drivers door.

Eventually my drivers window stopped working too.

Cut open door Grommet and found Wallace.

Bought new wire harness, installed, all is right with the world again.

There were several broken wires in the door harness. I splice them, splice didn't last long. Your results may vary.

Weird thing is all my power locks work fine. My 2001 does not lock when put into gear as much as id like it to.

I never got a master key so I have no working transmitters.

What is the part number for the wire harness? Is it easy to install?

Wire harness was not a bad install. IF you do this take pictures of everything, how it's routed etc.
Start to finish it took me like 2 hours. It's not hard just tedious because unless you have lots of pictures to reference you have to try and figure out how the harness is routed.
The plugs all only go to the one thing they go to. But getting them there is the hard part.
It's expensive, $275. But everything works and I figure I'll never have to do this job again.

Does the wiring harness come with the Lock sensor? The white plastic clip that clips onto the back of the cylinder. I really think thats my issue - id like to try it first.

Just cant find the part number.

Thanks.

I have no idea if it does not not. If you Google the part number from my picture you can find the harness and a picture of it laid out and see if it is there.
Otherwise I can lay out my old one and take on picture for you tomorrow after work when it's still hopefully daylight.

@Spike555 I know this is an old thread, but would you mind taking a picture of your old harness? I cannot find a solid picture of the harness and don't want to go through ordering it if it doesn't have the lock sensor.

I am getting pretty tired of not having remote entry.

Or does anyone else have any ideas?

I will try and take pictures for you tongiht, but it might be to dark. If it is I will do it tomorrow after work.

dont even really need pictures, just want to know for sure the lock cylinder is on that harness

All it is is a wire harness with connectors, nothing else.
If by lock cylinder you mean the thing the key goes in, then no, not on the harness.

not the cylinder - sorry i misspoke.

The lock sensor that clips on to the back of the lock cylinder. Its a white clip two with two wires.

I think the connector with the pink and purple wires is the one you are looking for. But I do not remember where I unplugged it from.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pictures. I don't see it on that harness.

This is what im looking to replace.

It's a package of locks for a bunch of money...

@beno will know.

They didn't show availability for LH front, but that was a VIN I used. Punch in your VIN and look under Electrical, SWITCH & RELAY & COMPUTER
This is RH side.

I could see one door switch going bad, but three!

I'm replacing all the electric motors, that stop working as resistance rises with the heat of the day, sun or use. Whichever side in the sun (the hottest) stops working first.
