To be honest, I haven't installed it yet. I had to address my head gaskets / engine swap first.

Ill try to get it addressed this weekend and report back for you!

Thanks-- look forward to hearing if this fixed your problem. Do you know exactly what this part does? Does it just tell the ECU if the door is locked or unlocked? Or, does it play a role regarding if the keyfob will work or not? Thanks

OK so i installed the new sensor....it did nothing to fix my issue.

For some reason, not sure if OEMpartsource put the wrong sensor in the wrong bag, but the first one I installed (60020) was for the passenger side, judging by the different color and the fact that it locked doors when i unlocked them. The way to tell is the driver side is more tan colored and the passenger side is white.

From what i see, this sensor tells the door lock ECU what to do. If you turn the key once, it unlocks just the drivers door, if you turn it twice, it unlocks all doors. Turn it the other way to lock all the doors.

If your sensor is not working - it will never tell the other doors to unlock or lock.

But, I still have all the same issues. If i only unlock the drivers door and then open it, the alarm goes off. I cannot program keyless entry no matter how many times i try. If the engine is running and i open the drivers door, when i close it I hear the power locks activate twice.

I am at a loss here.

"If i only unlock the drivers door and then open it, the alarm goes off..."---------------- This is the same issue I have. I pull into my garage, and all the doors are locked. I shut off the LC, and then open the driver door (which automatically, manually unlocks the driver's door-- so one can get out)-- then when I come back, and open the unlocked driver's door-- the alarm goes off. This is driving me nuts-- I do not know what else to try.
