Hello, just in the past few days, i am no longer seeing the image from the left hand, driver's door mirror multi terrain camera. How do i begin to figure out what is going on?

1. Is it the camera?
2. Is there a problem with the feed from the camera?
3. Is there a fuse somewhere that could be blown?
4. Could it be something else i am unaware of?

Any help would be appreciated.

This is what i see on my screen

There is a back door menu to get into adjusting the cameras, you may want to search on here and get those directions and see if that can tell you anything?

Thank you, I went into the back door settings and this is what I saw and I found. And now am getting a “system not ready” message on the screen every time the cameras are in use, such as when I put the truck in reverse
Any clue?

Above in RED it says MIRROR SW and the "CHK" in red which would indicate that the system is not getting signal from that camera.
To me that would mean camera or wire connection has an issue.

I am not sure where to go from there, but there's likely someone else on here that could help?

Thanks for your help. I will try and get this to the dealership today. I have a call into them.

I wish i could find out myself if it is the camera or the feed, i just have no clue what harness or pin the feed would be coming from.

You would need to look at the PDF file that has the wire diagram then check continuity. There is a PDF file with the manual for these floating around. Search and you find it. (it's huge). The dealer it likely going to swap out the camera.. and then if that doesn't work trace wires. I would guess it's the camera or a connector came loose.

I personally would just plug in a new camera (not install just plug in), then if that didn't work I would chase wires and connections. .. or dealer if you don't have time.

Ok, I will look for this PDF file. That would be helpful. It's killing me that it is not working as it should and i can't figure this out :p

1. I have an appt for dealership on Monday. I bought an extended warranty with the LC, so let's see if they will cover it. If not, i will be trying to fix on my own.

2. To replace the camera i would have to disassemble the side mirror, and the camera looks like it is plug and play. A used camera would be a few hundred dollars. $200-300.

Since my battery was replaced by the dealership last week, and all of this started happening since then, i was hoping that a fuse or something electrical happened. When i called them, they didn't think that it was related. I also asked if there was a reset for the system, and they said "no."

UPDATE: the " System Not Ready " has been fixed. The Land Cruiser needed to be recalibrated after the battery was replaced. Now that message is gone when the camera view pops up or when the LC was put in reverse.

However, the driver's side mirror camera is still not showing an image and am still trying to figure out this problem.
