Drive to 2nd Quandry (1 Viewer)

This past summer I took a couple of trips to Moab and when I returned I noticed that if I gently pulled back on the gear shift, while it was in drive, that the little green light that illuminates D switches off. If I pull back a little harder it illuminates 2nd and then shifts into 2nd. Once I let go 2nd goes off, both illumination and transmission, and into drive.

Is my transmission trying to tell me something? It drives and shifts fine. I get a weird vibration when I decelerate, (a few people have posted that that may be a driveline issue).

Sounds like something with your selector. maybe loose and a little out of postion.
