Post 243 ish in this thread has a pic..IIRC there was more that needed to be modified on the pass floor pan than the tank..after installing the BB shell (waiting for the shaft) I decided to sell it to a 60 ownerIdeally I need to visualize how much room it actually interfers with the tank so I have a better idea if it's a job I want to tackle. That was a split case though, correct? Definitely smaller than the 80 series case.Post 243 ish in this thread has a pic..IIRC there was more that needed to be modified on the pass floor pan than the tank..after installing the BB shell (waiting for the shaft) I decided to sell it to a 60 owner
Neat@nukegoat thought it was obvious, I'm stubborn.
But in all reality, I actually shouldn't be modding my fuel tank, at least not for the Tcase. Stock driveshafts even, end goal is to keep the tcase in the factory location and push this tiny little motor forward to offset the difference.
Yes correct it was a split case! Thank you that was misleading. That was a split case though, correct? Definitely smaller than the 80 series case.
I spoke with them last week and they said they have them available. The capacity is doubled and the units have already pretapped/block ports for use with an external pump and res. And yes, you'll still need an external pump/res as the units have no way to self circulate fluid. They told me that they don't know of anyone with a stock powertrain application for an 80 using the BB-C. Their main customer is someone swapping out the powertrain for something modern.Time and date top of page, Note Availability
