Double exhaust on LX450... is this common?

no not common, if the tip is even hooked up to anything it likely splits at the muffler, no real effect.

the exhaust has to be single at the cats and O2's on OBDII 80's, sometime in 95 and up, so that includes all LX450's

BTW I would consider most aftermarket exhausts to be a downgrade from stock, most are coated steel that will rust through much faster than the stainless OEM exhaust.

Thanks for the info.
BTW any idea what would be cost of installing a new muffler for 80?

Here are a few with dual mufflers (with SUS304 stainless steel: some shops make them for both petrol and gasoline engines, so the actual pic might be for 1HD-T, but you get the idea);) :

Turned out to be a fake. Just an 18" piece of pipe with a chrome tip on it, to make it look like it has duals.
