Double din audio and nav - still classic-ish look

None of them fit perfectly, but all were easy to retrofit. Used a dremmel to cut out the back of the plastic housing and replaced the screws with longer reach to fix the kicker to the door itself... Plus a little gorilla glue. For the fronts, the 5.25 inch stocks have exceptionally large frames around them. Again, used some longer screws to sink the new shallow 6" Polk straight into the door. Holes lined up perfectly. Only problem is getting creative to fix the covers back on, which I haven't done yet.

I don't like the idea of having to look down that far for navigation, straying from the sight of the windshield/road, but that looks like a pretty clean unit/installagion.

Good job!

How much do you have invested in this so far?

Thanks for the picture I look to tackle the front and rear speaker replacement soon I can't wait for the improvement. I swear there are a hundred different threads on what fits and what doesn't, looks as if all required a bit of modification. I plan on just picking a component set and running with it. Did you just leave your dash and rear speakers stock or disconnect them completely?

For clearance on the rear doors I cut rings and covered them with vinyl. I did enlarge the factory hole and use 1/4 inch MDF for a mounting surface behind the door panel.
