Door locks acting up

Maybe you can get them at a chain store. Dorman brand or something? I always keep a bag full of spares, and other common items. I throw them in when I make a bigger order from a dealer. They’re pretty sturdy though, I don’t lose many to damage.

I answered the wrong question. Sorry. Yes, I’m sure you can get trim tools at a local auto parts store. I got these on Amazon, but they’re nothing fancy. I like that I can squeeze the handle rather than try to lever clips out. It seems more effective and damages fewer clips.

There are some used door panels on eBay, you might want to look at the pics to see where all the clips are located. Here is a link.

That’s a cool trim tool @CharlieS

Terdrocket & CharlieS,
Thanks for the info. Bought the part this AM, did the install this evening. Little unsettling pulling apart a 85K vehicle, but all in all what takes 30 minutes on youtube took me an hour and half and saved me a little over a grand was well worth it. Part was $382.53 from Toyota of Dallas, which was $75.00 cheaper than the other dealer, Toyota South.

Recommendation on the trim tools was a solid one as well. Very glad I had them. Did some research and bought the plastic ones, to prevent screwing up the paint and such. They worked really well.

Have pics if anyone is interested, but youtube can explain it better than me.

Thanks again
