Door handle question

When I replaced my window regulator, my door handle bezel was broken. I've gotten a new one, but the screw in the middle of it will not come out. My question is this: is the screw supposed to come out? Otherwise, I'm not sure how to replace that bezel.

Slip a set of tiny needle nose plies behind the head, gently pry up while turning counter clock wise.

It should do the trick.

Yep, it's a sheet metal screw and only has 3 or 4 threads. It'll come out.
