Because you might run the snowblower over it........like me.

Fargh!!!!!!!

Naw...it stalled out...but I am impressed it didn't snap any shear pins. So stupid....

bummer.....I picked up a bolt with mine a few year ago. It made it about five inches around the housing between the housing and the impeller - it reformed the metal of the housing along its path so there is a groove for about five inches where the bolt traveled before stiopping the impeller and the bzlower dead in its tracks......Removed bolts - shook fist in air and returned to blowing snow - hasn't proved to be a a problem......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I had a John Deere 10Hp 32" cut that got countless rocks caught in it. Year 1, snapped numerous shear bolts, replaced with Grade 5 bolts, ran like a champ for 3 more seasons. Gave it to the Xwife in the divorce for more than I paid for it. :grinpimp: I wonder how long it lasted.....

LOL!!!! I can actually HEAR the thing making these noises!!!!

My love afair with snowblowers ended 2 years ago. In the space of about 15 minutes I had mine run me over, strip the gears out of the crappy transmission, snap a shear pin on one side, and actually catch on fire. Then, when I gave up on it and tried to push it back into the garage, the handle snapped off. The entire thing went to the dump the next day.

My neighbors won't let me have one now. It's for my own safety.

To complete the stupidity of it all.....here are my poser pictures.

That's Jameson and it is what I needed to remove the grill cover.

Cutty sark....hmph...

Jameson...Thats Irish whisky. 80 proof at 40.0 % alcohol and has 69 calories perserving. Not only that it help yopu find your grill cover in the snow.

My bbq cover has serious teeth marks on it from nibbling it with the sno-blo! And that is with the cover installed. I just have to get so close to everything in order to minimize shoveling that there are scars on all the deck surfaces, railings, dog dishes, etc... cuz I'm too lazy to just shovel a little more!

I have yet to nick the vehicles though. I guess that shows where my priorities are!

I came home from work a few weeks ago and was taking to my wife about getting dressed to go blow snow off the pond....She says" you know those 8 hockey pucks you gave the kids? we found 3":D

I have definitely snarfed up a puck off our backyard rink as well. Damn puck flies trough like a cannon ball. Burlap from the wife's herb garden is also a pain.....

Sick neighbors sunday paper was the worst one for me. 4 hours with propane torch and channel-locks to get that paper out! And it bent the driveline to the auger as well.

You need one of these;)

I have never ran anything through my snowblower. Now I know I will be having something go through after reading this.

I have a smaller hand-me-down Toro right now. When my Mom moves into a condo I get the massive TroyBilt my Dad bought a few years back. Heated grips and all. That thing will go faster than I can walk it!

I use one at work that is 47" path, that attaches to a tractor. We're getting a new blower and tractor this year. Stepping up to 54" path I believe.
