I received shipping confirmation yesterday. These things should arrive in Charlotte on Wednesday. I'll randomly test one (@Comet's) for quality control. Then, to accept or deny that result, I'll test another (@Comet's). Everybody thank Travis' wife for asking me to help her keep him from having so much stuff in his house. I'm trying to get her to keep them handy for his next birthday cake...

Logan's Run was to be a major distribution point for this stuff. If you're still planning on heading to URE on your own that weekend please let me know and we can try to arrange a mudship for whatever regions are represented. I'll do my best to get them out in a timely manner if URE is not an option. Likewise, I'll do my best to meet anybody passing through CLT who either needs to pick theirs up and/or is willing to transport some to their region. Charlotte people can hit me up to make arrangements for local pickup.

@CharlestonG8R I'll bring yours with me when I head to Harbor Island.
@BMThiker and @JToobe I believe we have a system in place for you guys already.

That's it off the top of my head. I'll go through the list early next week and hit up any of the other outliers to make arrangements. Anybody can feel free to reach out to me if you have any suggestions for shuffling these things around ONSC.

I am in no hurry so don’t worry about mine.

@Comet, you have an Isuzu Trooper? The first vehicle my wife and I bought after getting married was an '88 Trooper out in Tacoma, WA when I was an LT at Ft. Lewis, WA.....it was $15,300 for top of line and FJ62 was $24k IIRC so it was a no brainer although I still oogled a blue 62 that a captain bought about the same time that I saw every day....Should have bought a used Land Cruiser and invested $ in Microsoft stock.....

@JToobe yes I do. “Turtle” is a blast to drive. Slow, unsteady, and predictably an experience every time I get behind the wheel. Waiting on the first snow (demand based motivation) to list it for sale unfortunately. Sons first car but he realizes that it’s not a daily driver. It will go anywhere at a moments notice. Maybe you need it parked next to gaucho? Ha!

Found this info on a YouTube review that is not revealed on the Element website. Sounds a lot like the homemade smoke bahms we used to make in my youth, wherein we melted sugar and stirred in potassium nitrate. That mixture went into an empty soup can until it cooled and solidified. Then you could light it with a regular barbeque style Bic lighter. A can of soup would smoke for 5-10 minutes getting the can red hot in the process.

*** The chemistry bit ***
Inside the non-pressurized container, it is essentially a solid resin of Potassium Nitrate, though the method creating that resin is very unique and special. Once activated, a chemical reaction is started so that it is broken down into Nitrogen Gas which starts the propulsion pushing the active ingredients of Potassium Free Radicals. These Potassium Ions have to bind onto oxygen. And so, this takes the oxygen away from the fire at a local level, therefore starving the fire of oxygen, it suppresses and extinguishes it. The newly combined Potassium and oxygen (Potassium Oxide) are very fine white particles which just dissipate into the atmosphere, totally harmless with no effect on the environment. (There is also a very small amount of water vapor created but this is very fine and negligible)
