We're finally ready to share all the options that are here or coming from Dobinsons Spring & Suspension for the new 250 Series Land Cruiser and Lexus GX550. I'll be posting up all the options and specs, as much as I can share, and also updating it as needed for when new parts or options are added.

If you're already running parts from Dobinsons, please post up photos of those and your rig to share with everyone else. We might ask for some measurements from you too.

We're looking at March/April 2025 for many of the parts to come in, including the new coils for the front and some for the rear, the standard travel front struts, strut mounts, and the UCA's. Some parts are shared among the Tundra/Sequoia/300 Series platform, so they're already here and in stock.

The LC250 specs are all based on the 2.4L and 2.7L gasoline engines. I won't be listing the non-USA engine coil spring options, to avoid confusion.
The GX550 is based on the bigger V6 engine and non-hybrid, so the rear lifts a little more without the extra weight that the LC250 hybrids have.

The main difference between the LC250 and GX550 options are the coils, everything else is the same. The GX has a heavier front engine, and a lighter rear end (no hybrid battery pack in the cargo area)

Front Struts - These are all extended travel and require a diff drop kit and UCA's for proper clearance and travel
GS59-660 - Twin Tube Extended Travel, fixed coil seat height for 0-3" of lift
IMS59-60660 - 2.6" Body, Extended Travel, adjustable height monotube for 0-3" of lift
MRA59-A660 - 2.6" Body, Extended Travel, 3-way adjustable valving (high and low speed compression and rebound adjustments), height adjustable monotube for 0-3" of lift

Rear Shocks
GS59-441 - Twin Tube shocks for 0-3" of lift
IMS59-60441 - 2.6" body for 0.5-3" of lift, monotube shocks
MRA59-A441 - 2.6" body for 0.5-3" of lift, 3-way adjustable valving (high and low speed compression and rebound adjustments) monotube shocks

Front Coils for LC250 - Offered in Teal, Black and Red Colors
C59-882 - 2.0" lift with stock weight
C59-816 - 2.5" lift with stock weight, or 2.0" lift with 110-220LBS added front end weight (bumper, winch, skids, etc)
C59-818 - 3.0" lift with stock weight, or 2.5" lift with 110-220LBS constant added weight

Front Coils for GX550 - Offered in Teal, Black and Red Colors
C59-816 - 2.0" lift with stock weight, or 1.5" lift with 110-220LBS added front end weight (bumper, winch, skids, etc)
C59-820 - 2.5" lift with stock weight, or 2.5" lift with 110-220LBS constant added weight
Add preload with IMS or MRA struts to tune the lift height up as needed, like 1/2" lift via preload for 3" of total lift

C59-883V - 10mm (0.4") Lift, Variable Rate - less lift, but more load support when loaded or towing
C59-885V - 50mm (2.0") for GX550, Variable Rate with 0-110lbs rear end load

C59-819V - 50mm (2.0") for GX550, Variable Rate with 550-770LBS rear end constant load

C59-817V - 50mm (2.0") Lift, Variable Rate with 0-100LBS rear end constant load
C59-819V - 50mm (2.0") Lift, Variable Rate with 200-400LBS rear end constant load
C59-821V - 50mm (2.0") Lift, Variable Rate with 500-700LBS rear end constant load
C59-823V - 50mm (2.0") Lift, Variable Rate with 800-1000LBS rear end constant load
C59-825V - 50mm (2.0") Lift, Variable Rate with 1100-1300LBS rear end constant load

Front UCA's
UCA59-212K - Billet Aluminum, reuses OEM ball joints for a maintenance free life, OE-style high quality rubber bushings for maximum NVH dampening and longevity, No greasing or maintenance required at all, completely noise-free operation, Adjustable on-vehicle for quick and easy alignment, Adjustable Camber and Caster for perfecting the vehicle’s handling

Front Strut Mounts
SC59-021 - OE replacement strut mounts, allows you to order your front suspension completely assembled prior to shipping, and not needing to disassemble the original coilovers, and no special tools needed (safer). Includes new bushings and hardware

Diff Drop Kit
This needs to be run with the extended travel front struts, as CV bind will occur at full drop without it in place
DD59-542K - Diff drop Kit for Lexus GX550, 3rd Gen Tundra and Sequoia (won't fit LC250)
DD59-644K - Diff drop kit for Land Cruiser 250 and 2024+ Tacoma

Adjustable Rear Trailing Arms
These allow the rear pinion angle of the truck to be set properly once it has been lifted. They're also much beefier than stock
WA59-547K - Dobinsons Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms with OEM style rubber bushings installed
WA59-747K - Dobinsons billet Adjustable rear lower control arms with OEM style rubber bushings installed
WA59-571K - Dobinsons Adjustable Rear Upper Trailing Arms with OEM style rubber bushings installed

Rear Panhard Rod (track bar)
This is recommend with a 2" lift or more. It allows you to re-center the rear axle under the frame
PR59-1421 - Adjustable length, new OE style rubber bushings already installed

Front Bump Stops
For those people who will be hitting it hard offroad, out in the desert, or wherever they may bottom out, a set of upgraded bump stops should be strongly considered
BS59-560 - Includes multiple height shims to set the bump stop gap accordingly and also prevent coil bind if preloading

Rear Bump Stops
HBS59-013FKK - Dobinsons Rear Adjustable Hydro Bump Stop Kit, includes coil isolator replacements with new bump stops, adjustable length, nitro charged

Rear Lean Correction Spacer
This can be used to correct a lean on one side, or add one to both sides to add 15mm more lift.
PS59-4035 - Rear 15mm Spacer made from polyurethane

Rear Sway Bar Links
SE59-591 - Adjustable length rear sway bar links for 1-4" of lift

Given 250’s dismal payload, can you speak to whether and which of these configurations would allow for GVWR increases in the Aussie market, and by how much?
 
Would love compressed and extended length for all the shock options including stock to make comparisons. Excited!

GVW increases is something they do in Australia, but that hasn't been announced yet if they will offer it on that model (they probably will). It's not something that's done here in the USA, since no authorities require it, like they do in Australia. People here just add stronger and stronger coils and go over GVW all the time, quite often not even upgrading their brakes either.

This payload capacity doesn't seem bad to me:

A 2024 4Runner has 1700 lbs payload capacity, so it seems in line with this size of SUV

I don't have the stock length specs for any models unfortunately.

Thanks, and yes, I understand that. I was thinking that the official Aussie govt. ratings could help inform what can be reasonably expected from various springs as applied in other markets.

But as you note, that doesn't address other parts that may not be designed for higher loads.

For what it's worth, the US spec hybrid 250 payloads are coming it at 950 - 1350 lbs, depending upon whether one chooses to measure with the door jamb value (the former) or subtracts curb from gross vehicle weight rating (the latter).

I think this is what toyota advertises, however my base model with no add ons has a sticker on the door jam that says max payload 1100lbs. Pretty bummed about it actually as the 1687lbs payload was one of the reasons I purchased.

For my use (I’m not bashing the desert @ high speed) retaining the AVS and swapping springs is what I’m envisioning in the future.

By swapping springs what I specifically envision is level the front (1 to 1 1/2 inch lift total) after installing a hybrid front bumper / winch. I’m hoping to keep the rear as-is as I don’t have plans to add a bunch of weight to the rear axle.

I'm not sure yet on the AVS side of things. In the past, with XREAS, you can't use a different coil with those. The shocks detect height changes, and freak out if you add lift. I'm not sure how the new system works, but usually Dobinsons requires removing the whole system and replacing it with a non-electronic full setup.
 
Same boat here. I've got the AVS, which works really great, but would love to bring the nose up a little bit.

Curious if you know how this will sit with the front springs that provide 2" of lift and how it will impact the rear sag when towing, and ride without the extra weight.

It's not likely to be used with 2" front lift, because it will most likely lead to negative rake. Most people will buy and run those coils to upgrade the rear ones instead of just adding airbags.

In Australia, it's super common to upgrade just the rear springs for those that tow.

Think that would work with the stock shocks? I did a 1" setup with the IMS on my GX and would love to do something similar for the 250.

Yeah, they should be fine with stock shocks and under 1" of rear lift.

Late reply here, curious if there's enough info about other spring rates to target 1-1.5" of front lift or do you think 2" will be the minimum that can be set up?

At this point, there aren't any other shorter coils.

Tacoma, LC250 and 4Runner all share the same type of suspension on the front, but different rates. We'll see if they come up with some others in the future.

In the meantime, using the IMS or MRA struts from Dobinsons with the adjustable height coil seats, and running stock coils, is how you can lift it less than 2".
