More info. Year model? U.S. market (or other). Looks to be right hand drive?

Sorry, should have included, it’s a FZJ80 1994 Australian spec. right hand drive.

I’m not sure whether it’s a factory or aftermarket part, nor what it does.

So many questions... there are things in there that arn't on my 1FZ.

It looks like a charcoal canister, but its not in the proper place.
It doesn't even look like its tied down.

Yeah, and the hose running to it definitely doesn't look OEM
