Do you grow your own food "summer and winter" ? I wonder if fruit can be grown in greenhouses in the northern latitudes? (1 Viewer)

Is this by chance the new user ID for Haryv/rustybouquet? :hmm:

I don’t say I’m growing vegetables year round but here is my stuff: my wife gave me a lemon and a lime tree a few years ago. As the summer closed and the colder winter arrived, I brought them into the basement under some amazing LED lights and they keep growing a blossoming and producing fruit. This is my 4th year now doing this. Being LED the cost to run them 12 hours is minimal, using TP-Link plugs and app on the phone with auto schedule. This year we had a few unusual ornamentals and a rosemary bush that looks like a Christmas tree… the basement fields are growing and producing.
