Chasing a leak on the passenger side of the block. Pulled the dizzy to replace the side cover gasket and decided to change the o ring. Nothing at the parts store but random rubber o rings. They were too fat to get the dizzy back in. Do I need OEM for this or will a smaller o-ring stretched to fit work? The old one was more plastic-y and flat (maybe from use).

If anyone has a source or good idea I'd appreciate it. I do hate paying $5 for shipping for a $0.50 part, but I don't want to waste time with something that will leak.

Thanks,

Jordan.

Fair enough. I'm sure that's the right answer... $8 on amazon (oof!). Can you hear my wallet creaking as I get my debit card out?

I've found that Amazon's prices on OEM parts are higher than Toyota retail, even before the 25% MUD discount I get at American Toyota. I pay sales tax but no shipping.

I did my own recurve a while back. At least one other forum member has copied my homebrew $17 recurve with good results. Check out my Turdle thread if you want to see how mine went.
