Hello All, As the title implies, where is the location of the fitting where I connect the hose for distributor cap air intake? I have the other side connected as described but the PO had committed jihad on the plumbing on my truck. This is my last open topic to resolve in this department :)

Thanks in advance for the help!

One side (the smaller nipple on the Dissy cap) to the valve assy under the Air Cleaner, and the other to the nipple on the firewall, passenger side - There's a (or supposed to be) a small filter on inside of the firewall, behind the Blower Motor.

Hello all, thanks for the input. The only item I have on the passenger side that remotely looks like a nipple is a soft rubber hose that exits from the firewall at 90deg. This looks like a drain for condensation. I’ve included a picture of the passenger side of my firewall and looked in the passenger footwell but don’t see the filter. Cans anyone give a hint where this filter is exactly? I know you said behind the fan but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks again for the help. Truck is a 1985 FJ60

Mine is easier to see since I've removed the washer bottle
