That's a pretty slick looking bumper!!!

Okay, when I get working again, I'm going to have to bug the wife :princess: to get one for my rig... Now you just need to come up with a high clearance rear bumper with spare and highlift mounts!:)

^^^what he said, this is the bull bar you will receive if you order the LC bull bar. The other bull bar is for the lx but will fit the LC as well.

How do you bend a steel plate this thick without a big break you ask! Well, like this!

In the DIY kit; does that piece need to be bent or does it come pre bent? I have not opened up the box nor do I want to until I am ready to start welding. Things tend to disappear when I have a 1,3,&5 year old around.

No, those pieces are pre bent. Mine just happen to have slipped through and Ben told me he realized it after the kit was shipped!

Yes, sorry Paulo! The 03 and up LC and the lx need to be bent and will be. I just forgot to on his order. I'm working on a packing check list so this kind of stuff doesn't happen.

No big deal Ben! Easy enough to do.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it yet but on mine I removed the plastic cover over the washer reservoir and painted it black. It almost disappears if you do this.

Quick PSA. Please don't cruise around town and out to dinner with the shackles fully deployed. Kind of equivalent to the Jeep guy rolling around the golf course parking lot with the color matched Hi-lift bolted to the hood. Rant over.

Do you mean the shackles should be in the truck, not on the bumper? I don't understand fully deployed, I guess?

Yeah... no need for a vehicular cow bell - stow them in the gear bag. Couple upsides: You don't look like the "Hey look at me! I'm going on a safari" crowd. And, the bigger reason, they're out of the weather and much easier to thread when you actually need them.

sorry, too many pages, how thick is the main metal?
