Just waiting for flush mount bezels from Baja Design to complete the install. Finally got the personalized plates as well after a few months.

Looks good; glad to see someone not running the Rigid 6" lights. I am looking at doing a Dissent full front like yours later this year, but was leaning toward the Squadron flush mounts as well so it is nice to see someone else go with that option too (though I'm still undecided on the bullet lights). Please post pics once the lights go in--did you go amber or clear?

I have a choice- I already had the SAE clear Squadrons in the original bumper, so I'll probably just use those. I have a set of amber Squadron Pros in the combo lens, so they might end up being mounted on the front rail of the tent. I'm also not 100% sure on the bullet lights but they are easy to delete if I decide I don't love them.

My flush mounted 3" lights ended up being low ditch lights the way they angle in the bumper -- maybe yours are different with the full bumper

Ordered some 15 degree offsets that should be here today but if I don't like it I'm gonna get the 6" SAE cutouts

I cut these out myself for a Diode Dynamics 3" and 2" pods

Looks great. I personally would advise against mounting any lights up top unless you absolutely have to. My guess is they wouldn’t be worth the added complexity.

(I have a 40 inch light bar mounted on my roof rack that will see 95% less use than the pair of LP9s I just mounted to the front bumper. Overhead light is simply not the same in my opinion)

I agree. I had a 40" black oak lightbar on my roof rack on my last 200, and while it put out a metric crap-ton of light, it was only usable on the rare occasion that I was in the middle of nowhere at night. The integral bumper mounted lights are a lot more usable day to day, especially if you run a dimmer circuit (like the one on the switchpros). Even the Stedis I have on my current bumper are way more light than is usable 99% of the time.

Great build. What did you do to address the white painted metal plate (lack of a better word) behind the bumper? I did the full replacement and my truck is silver so it stands out too.

Hi,
I rattle can painted those areas with matte black plastidip- totally makes them disappear and I can peel it off if I ever need to in future.

Best,
Ken

Nice! I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a can of plastidip sitting around but haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for confirming.

what’s that Triton thing you have mounted?

Airhorn speaker. Bit overkill. Would like to mount it back behind the bumper really.
nice! what do you have powering it from inside the rig? and your intended use - yell at neighborhood kids?

Looks great! Are those Bud built sliders? Been debating if I should get those or something else! Would love to hear your opinion if you like them or if the install was tricky?
Hi- thanks, those are Bud Built sliders. Install was very straightforward, just 3 hours total I believe. The only awkward part was having to drop the gas tank shield.

Thanks for the quick reply! Hope to see you around the bay sometime!
