Disconnecting transfer lever / linkage

Thanks 2001LC! I have a feeling i'm going to the mechanics... but with a bit of luck that won't be necessary. Will update this thread in a week or so with how things are going. Thanks for all your help!

Well that was expensive. Some major work apparently. it was beyond my local mechanic so gearbox had to be sent away. Will be back later this week hopefully to be put back in. Total bill is going on $4k.... ouch.

Wow $4K. I see used ones around (in USA) for around $1K US.
