One of the real cool things about my business is getting to work on, and drive some real nice trucks, this is a 10 yr old CCOT resto, it is shown on their site as the only Pumpkin color they ever saw.
I do not know how it got from the PO to the current owner but he owns the Toyota dealership in Paris Tx about 40 miles east of me.
Called me based on someone's recommendation, and I sold him a front disc conversion, used FJ60 components.....
I used the starter bushing to make the tie rods fit the FJ60 arm......

No he wanted to get rid of those pesky disc brakes......:doh::doh:

I fixed it:cheers::whoops:

Nice rig! Love the color.

Later,

Nice, any idea where the carpet kit came from?

I'm sure it came from CCOT since it was one of their premier restorations.....

Everything from the axle ball out, are from a donor FJ60 except the Warn hubs, he wanted to keep the old school look on the hubs.
Inner axles are fine spline, outer birfs are the fine spline FJ60

Looks like they used the International Harvester color instead of Toyota Pewter. Other than that and the fugly front bumper, it's a clean rig.

The seats can be fixed by lying on your back in the back and pushing up on the corners of them with your foot. Ask me how I know.

I love pumpkin orange. your customer's truck is beautiful!

you hardly ever see this color anymore.

someone even added ac for those toasty days. nice

Butch, did you fix the AC while you had it. I saw this thing at the shop and it is nice. Carpet was a nice touch.

Owner authorized me to fix everything I saw it needed..AC included.....detailed undercarriage:doh::doh: ya' do things when things are slow ya normally would not do.
The AC case was poorly mounted and the plastic case was in pieces.....so I made a ''cradle'' to hang it in...
See the shiny aluminum band running under the AC unit?
I was gonna paint it black but it looked so nice I left it natural.
