2008 LX570

AFS is a nice luxury. I checked to see if I had photos of which connector I discoed from the suspension module but I do not. Wondering if that makes a difference.

I have a knock sensor fault, so that is lighting up my dash, no other codes. that being said, I can no tbe sure that haveing the fuse and relay in are not causing lights at this point but the codes say it is not.

Few photos with stock diamerter 18" Michelin winters on Tundra wheels, and stock diameter Pirellis on LX570 20" summers.

Are your height sensors still attached? I think AFS needs to talk to those too.

Yes the height sensors are still connected.

I tried (unscientifically) to see if the lights changed heights when driving on a particularly hilly drive home the other night. I did not notice any change in the height, but maybe the only adjust when the suspension sags or lifts unevenly?

Either way the directional left to right, right to left headlights are still moving with the turn of the steering wheel.

No issues for me.

There is an issue with disabling AFS on 2016+ models though.
I have a AHC system failure... i think im asking for more than the system can handle (cause of the +4 long travel arms) so I ordered king 3.0's rather than try and get it working only to have other problems... I've been having problems woth it for a year know and has been a headache to keep it functioning...I'd like to keep AFS if possible. I have successfully unpluged the AHC module and it was removed from the dash display. At that point am I ready to just start removing everything and install the kings? Can I keep AFS? Still no issues woth your delete as far as codes? I'm not deleting everything rite away as I'm in a time crunch but will do it lil by lil over the next few weeks. TIA :UPDATE: it's a 2013

Read @Omsok s posts above. His AFS still works.

Still no issues for me.

So I'm an idiot!!!.... ahc wasn't working and I was tired of messing woth it.... I ordered king 3.0's and they're scheduled for delivery yesterday... so I started pulling stuff off starting woth front shocks... wouldn't you know I found the speed sensor/ ride height sensor unpluged 🤦‍♂️... so now I'm curious if it'll work now... put everything back together and it did... SDHQ says they want 20% restocking fee... plush shipping itll cost me 1500$ to return... so I guess I'm keeping them

Maybe there’s an aftermarket?

No sense and loosing money... I'll just closet them.... next problem I have with AHC I'll swap them in.... now watch AHC work without a hiccup for another 12 years🤣
That sucks, I'm going to assume once you get them and open the box, you will probably change your mind and install them!

What kings did you buy? Tundru spec front and 200 series rear?

Tundra spec 3.0 front amd rear.... I called king to verify rear lower mount hole... 1/2in woth the misalignment but 3/4 for the bearing which is what the lc200 is... so I order 3/4 no reduction misalignment spacers... until to open the box but according to King specs theu should bolt right up. The tundra specs are 1in longer is why I chose them for extra travel

Everything but the coilover? ... the coilover bolts rite up
Don't they recommend different spec shocks/springs for the longer arms? I'm sure you would need stiffer springs.

No i meant you can still run everything with AHC except the coilovers.

The AHC hydraulic ram can easily achieve the extended travel setup. Just find a good way to correct the top collar mounting angle and you should be just fine.

Need extended lines too though probably.

I had actually put in dobinsons front springs and 80 series factory rear springs but AHC didn't like it up front... drove like a boat in rough seas... went back to stock springs woth 80 seroes rears and it drives like it did factory... probably is excessive pressure on front... I'll need to get tech stream to monitor... I've been on long travel arms and factory struts for 1.5 years... its holding up... but I'll probably end up swapping these kings in here soon

The lower shock mount is the same location as stock arms..arms... so the angle didn't change... I do have +6 extended break lines
