which way do the rear brake clips go -- pics would be awesome -

Feel your "pain" had the same situation on the front. Made them fit, improvised, or if the lines were rigid left a clip off.

Tabs fold outward holding to the bracket and should not come in close contact to the rotor.

Don't be like me and do a brake job a few beers in and install them backwards
