I have seen a couple posts on here, but thought I would post the pics to see if anyone sees anything obvious. I am gonna go wipe it down and get better pics when the kid goes down shortly. Flex hose or hard line? Is it worth it to go SLEE SS braided lines?

Cleaned it up a bit. The hard line looks to be in good shape.

Tough call until degreased and watched for point of leak. But the hard line looks bent, possibly loose at flare nut.

Had the wife pump the brakes and saw some weeping from the flex line. Debating replacing them all with SLEE kit, which I don't have time to do myself until the end of the month, or just have someone replace the one flex line and flush the system.

I thought it looked a little bent too, but leak was clearly from the other side.

If you work on your truck yourself, is worth doing a doubled soft line, so you can hang rotors up out of way, while you mess with axle work.

I've got and extra set of braided SS flexible I like better than the Slee sets. Most including Slee's SS flexibles don't have the locking pin these do. These I have are just like OEM but are braided SS Your welcome to come by and see them. I also have a set of OEMs.

I had issue with two flare nut when I removed them. One RH front I was able to recondition in place. The rear upper I had to re-flare. Most shop just replace the hard line when this happens. Apparently this is a know issue due to over torque on right side of are 100 series. It only issue if removed. You may want to look at this:

Yeah I looked through those and you showed me those lines probably back in May. I might shoot you a text and stop by if I can find some free time this weekend.

BTW: Keep that fluid level at max after pumping pedal 40 times with key off, and don't drive any more than necessary.

When I bought mine the rear flex hose was leaking on the right rear. I replaced both. They were dirt cheap new from the Toyota dealer.

Hard to tell, but it looks like there's a gash on the flex line just left of the connection. I had a similar issue, but caught it before it leaked. I purchased a new line for $25 from Advance (CarQuest part, 25% off coupon and free shipping). Swapping it was very easy as well as flushing the system.

I think you are right. I thought I saw that too and tried to get a good pic, but camera wouldn't focus great on it.
